The teachers and administrators at Saint Andrew Catholic School are such faith-filled people. They are a model and great example for all of our children. This school has such exceptional quality. It is a very happy place to learn and be formed in our Catholic faith. And truly, that is testament to the students, who are always so very kind and respectful.
Monsignor Michael C. Picard, Pastor Emeritus
Here in 3rd Grade, I like to think that it is the most exciting grade ever because we have a lot of fun doing really exciting units. We do things cross-curricular!
Mrs. Dixon, 3rd Grade
I love St. Andrew's, and had a great experience there. It taught me to work hard, be disciplined, and be a team player. But the best thing it taught me was my faith. I would not have gotten so far without God in my life. It's really important to keep practicing your faith and to be grateful for everything that you have in your life.
Ryan Arcidiacono, 2016 NCAA National Champion
At Saint Andrew Preschool, we educate the whole child: spiritually, academically, and socially. We take great pride in that responsibility!
Marigrayce Malboeuf, Early Childhood Coordinator
Saint Andrew is a STEM school that provides many opportunities for our students to compete at local and statewide competitions. One of which that we have had great success at is Villa Joseph Marie's Sciathlon: an all-girls math and science competition.
Congratulations to our 8th grade team, who placed 2nd among 14 schools in 2025!
Saint Andrew promotes a structured learning environment, that focuses on academics, character-building, and faith. Administration and faculty encourage parents to be involved along the way through volunteering and attending events. It is a true community and we feel fortunate to be a part of it.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in Sixth Grade, with this major sacrament of initiation received in the Fall of Seventh Grade. Candidates may choose a Saint’s name as a model and source of inspiration in their life of faith. This name reflects their identity as a disciple of Christ. Each candidate is expected to study and understand the life of their chosen Patron Saint.

What I love about Saint Andrew Catholic School is the great sense of community. It is wonderful being part of a community where parents, teachers, and staff members all work together to create a safe and nurturing environment for our students.
Jessica Wagner, Principal
Saint Andrew is an investment not just in your child's academic future, but it's an investment in their character, and who they are as a human being.
Michael Ksiazek, Parent
Saint Andrew has many time-honored traditions that create core memories, like our beloved (and equally adorable) Pre-school Christmas pageant, reminding us all that:
Jesus is the reason for the season!
In my time at Saint Andrew School, I have been nourished with a mind of service through leadership, humility, and most importantly, trust in God. I am reminded of the gifts I have received in my time at this wonderful school, and I hope to take them with me wherever I go, so that I may serve and lead by example, following the way of our Lord.
Colin M., St. Andrew Graduate
Having started as a building substitute and now a full-time teacher, I can say that the most wonderful thing about Saint Andrew, and what makes it such a special place is how welcoming everybody is here.
Ms. Cardie, 3rd Grade
Saint Andrew School and Parish has helped me and many others discover the true meaning of charity, find our faith, and strengthen our relationship with God.

My teachers make my class really fun for me, like shaving a snowman. It doesn't even feel like learning; it feels like playing. But I keep getting smarter and smarter!

As Pastor, I see every day how our school forms not only strong students, but strong disciples. At Saint Andrew Catholic School, faith and learning are inseparable. Our students are challenged academically, guided spiritually, and supported by a community that truly cares for them. It is a joy and a privilege to watch our students grow—not only in knowledge, but in their relationship with Christ.
Monsignor Lawrence
It was amazing and surreal. It was like coming full circle because this was the same stage where things started for me, and it was incredible to see some of the same kids I used to know from this school. I hope they got the message out of it to believe in themselves. That's a cliché, but it's so true. Every 'no' you get should push you harder toward that next 'yes.' You can make dreams happen if you just do it.
American Idol Alumni, Catie Turner, on her performance at Saint Andrew in 2018
Students at Saint Andrew School are actively involved throughout the year, and, at times, take leadership positions at Saint Andrew Main Church. This is especially true in May, where students perform the important role of crowning the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary with flowers to honor her as the Queen of Heaven and Earth.

Faith is woven into every aspect of Saint Andrew's, which, in turn, is woven into every aspect of our children's lives.
Marjorie Donovan, Parent
Phenomenal education with emphasis on moral Catholic values. Saint Andrew School, its teachers, faculty, and overall positive learning environment is the reason my daughter will have the opportunity for achievement into the future. A school is not awarded the Blue Ribbon School of Excellence twice by accident. It is due to a ton of hard work and commitment by its faculty and administration. As parents, we cannot ask for anything more.

The Saint Andrew Religious Education Program joins with families in exploring the rich tradition of our Catholic faith. Our program focuses on the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist and the importance of keeping Him as the center of our lives.
Cathy DeRico, Religious Education Director
After graduating together from Saint Andrew School, and subsequently Holy Ghost Prep, Carlo Duffy and Mark Featherstone reunited this past year as students at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Featherstone graduated in May 2025 with a MS in Supply Chain Management, and Duffy will graduate in 2026 with a PhD in Social & Engineering Systems.
Just a pretty cool reunion story of Saint Andrew classmates. Lifetime friendships forged here!
People at Saint Andrew care about each other. They love each other, and want to help each other grow. Academically, spiritually, socially: it's a great place to be.
Tracy Boedewig, Former Teacher & Parent
After two years in Montessori, we moved our daughter to Saint Andrew School for Kindergarten. It was a tough choice—but one we’ve never regretted. We’re continually amazed by her growth—spiritually, socially, and academically. She comes home each day excited, full of stories about new words, chapel, songs, writing, art projects, and more. Her academic progress has been remarkable. Just as meaningful, she’s taught us about kindness.
Steve & Lori Schlosser
The thing that makes Saint Andrew so special is the community that you have, and the staff and students that make it a family.
Ms. Raspa, 5th Grade
Saint Andrew Catholic School brings together faith and family. Walking into the building, the family feel is evident and so too is the close partnership between school and family. Our educators work in union with parents and guardians to form the whole child, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Inspired by the first Apostle of Jesus, Saint Andrew, our graduates leave Saint Andrew Catholic School walking in the footsteps of Christ.
Andrew Fasullo, Vice Principal
The project began with Chandler Hall, which had purchased the turf but needed help funding and installing it. After learning of the need from Deb Porter, president of the Newtown Rotary Club, I volunteered to lead it as my Eagle Scout service project. Over two weekends, I led 24 volunteers (including 16 scouts) in excavating the site and installing the turf to complete the putting green.
Jacob Strader, Saint Andrew School Graduate & Eagle Scout
This victory is a testament to the hard work and commitment of both the players and coaches. The girls displayed incredible teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and we could not be prouder of their achievement.
Principal Wagner, on the Varsity Girl'a 2025 CYO State Title
Our community is very welcoming. I can personally attest that because my family came from Texas, and our kids, coming in, that was the greatest blessing that we had. That when they walked through the doors for the first time, they were welcomed. And they are welcomed every day, and loved every day.
Rob Sikora, President
Saint Andrew School is considered a flagship school in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We're a stepping stone to the finest area high schools. Our students excel at local public and Archdiocesan schools. Most of our students attend private Catholic single-gender high schools, academies, and prep schools, many on scholarship.
Nancy Matteo, Former President & Principal
Saint Andrew Catholic School is exceptional because of its faculty and staff. The teachers see their work as a vocation: forming young minds and nurturing faith. Their dedication and care create a culture where students are known, supported, and challenged. Through their commitment to academic excellence and Catholic identity, students are prepared for lives of purpose and service. It has been a joy to serve alongside them.
Fr. Alex Pancoast
We are so grateful for our child's Kindergarten experience! The classroom provides a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children enjoy learning activities right at their developmental level. We've seen tremendous growth no only academically, but also socially and personally. The teachers are truly invested and passionate, taking the time to understand each child and encourage confidence, kindness, and curiosity.

Serving my first priestly assignment at Saint Andrew Catholic School has been an incredible blessing. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how naturally faith is woven into the life of the school. There is no greater joy than walking with students as they encounter Christ, and discover the beauty of their faith.
