- What is Home & School?
  
  The purpose of the Home & School Association at Saint Andrew Catholic School is to provide social and fundraising activities for the school.
  Home & School runs and/or participates in events for Saint Andrew Catholic School students and the community.

  The Home & School Association Board of Directors meets at 8:00pm on the second Monday of each month throughout the school year via Zoom. Agendas are posted in advance of all meetings.
  General meetings are held twice per year, in October and April, starting at 7:00pm, typically in the Marian Room.
  Although always conducted on Thursdays, general meeting dates vary depending on the presenter's schedule.

- Elections & Roles
  
  Home & School holds elections for the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
  The term for each position is two years.
  *Persons may be re-elected once and serve a maximum of four years in a particular position.
  President – Leads meetings, sets agendas, and serves as liaison among administration, church, parents, and school. Oversees committees and supports the school’s mission.
  Vice President – Assists the President, assumes duties as needed, and coordinates guest speakers for meetings.
  Secretary – Records meeting minutes and attendance, sends notices, manages correspondence, and maintains the membership list.
  Treasurer – Manages Home & School finances, including records, expenses, payments, and financial reports.
  Nominations open in March. Please nominate someone who would positively impact Saint Andrew Catholic School.

  Approval from Mr. Sikora and Mrs. Wagner is required for any Saint Andrew project or event. Please be sure to copy Erica Heine on all correspondence.
  Once approved, purchase any items required, align all numbers, and forward all receipts to Erica for reimbursement.
  For any events/projects that require large purchases, place notify Erica in advance. She will procure such expenses in accordance to the Church purchasing policy. Should your receipts exceed $500, Monsignor's signature is required.
  When reimbursements are distributed, Erica will reach out to you to determine the most efficient means for delivery.
  If at any time during your event or project planning, you need to deposit cash or checks into the Home & School account, please email Erica. She will meet you and collect the funds. If you are keeping an event or project balance sheet that details your income/expenses, please provide it to her as well.

  The Home & School Association’s goal is to support Saint Andrew teachers and students. It plans fun, community-based, and enriching activities throughout the school year for the Saint Andrew School children and families. In addition, Home & School organizes fundraisers to help meet various needs within the school.
