At Saint Andrew Catholic School, teachers and administrators are deeply committed to the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. Our staff work collaboratively to ensure that each child is known, supported, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
Saint Andrew offers a comprehensive range of resources designed to help students achieve their individual goals.
Our guidance and counseling services include individual educational testing to assess student abilities and academic achievement.
Following the completion of the evaluation process, the school counselor meets with parents, teachers, and administrators to review the comprehensive report's results, discuss recommendations, and collaboratively develop an appropriate educational plan tailored to the student’s needs. Counseling services are available on an individual basis and are provided with sensitivity, confidentiality, and care.
In addition to individualized support, Saint Andrew Catholic School offers small-group and classroom-based guidance sessions that focus on strengthening study habits, organizational skills, and social development.
These sessions are designed to help students build confidence, take on responsibility, and foster positive relationships within the school community.
Counseling, testing, and remediation services are provided in partnership with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and Catapult Learning. Through this collaboration, the guidance counselor conducts academic screenings and provides individual and group counseling, as well as instruction in organization and study skills. When appropriate, students may be referred to a Catapult Learning psychologist for a comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation.
Students experiencing academic challenges in reading or math may be recommended for targeted remediation services. Speech, language, and hearing therapy services are also available on-site to support student success.
