Volunteers are the lifeblood of our programs at Saint Andrew, and volunteering is a wonderful way to meet other parents, support our community, and have fun along the way. There are many ways to get involved, whether as a class parent, an event committee member, a Junior Achievement volunteer, or by helping with bulletin boards and special projects. No matter how much time you have, your support is truly appreciated by our students, teachers, and staff.
All opportunities require up-to-date clearances. When visiting, please sign in at the main office, wear your volunteer badge or lanyard, sign out when leaving, and return your lanyard if applicable. We look forward to welcoming you to school!
Federal background checks and fingerprinting are required for non-school employees and all volunteers who DO NOT live in Pennsylvania, or have lived outside of the state for 10 years.
Print out your results for submission to school. If you have lived in Pennsylvania for 10 continuous years, please print and sign the Disclosure Statement.
If fingerprinting is necessary, pre-register here and use the code 1KG6Y3.
If not a volunteer, you will need to contact the Department of Human Services to determine the appropriate code: (717) 783-6211.
After entering the code above, click "Schedule or Manage Appointment," then enter the required information.
Fingerprinting has a fee associated with it. For locations, click here.
Volunteers who have any contact with children are required to complete both parts of the Safe Environment training within 90 days of beginning their volunteer work.
As we continue to do all we can to keep our children free from harm, we also know that the Office for Child and Youth Protection provides services, resources, and support toward healing for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and their families.
Victim services can be reached at 1 (888) 800-8780 or via email at [email protected]. For any questions regarding your own Volunteer Clearance, feel free to contact Kathleen at (215) 968-2685 x227 or [email protected].
