School Play

The plays are sometimes musicals, sometimes dramas. The students rehearse for 2-3 months, and the performance occurs during the school day for the students and on two evenings for family and friends, usually in March. 

Auditions are held each January for interested 8th-grade students, who can work as actors or on the stage crew. 

Students learn about the entire theatre process: sound and light equipment, live piano accompaniment, make-up, costumes, etc.
