Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) is one component of a parish's comprehensive youth ministry program. It enables the partnership of parents, coaches, priests, teachers, and adult learners to manage and support a sports program that allows youth to grow in their relationship with God and understand themselves and the Catholic Faith better.
This is not a school-only program.Participation is open to all boys and girls who attend either Saint Andrew School or the Saint Andrew Religious Education Program and who actively participate in Saint Andrew Parish life.

Winter Program
Our Winter Program consists of Basketball, Cheerleading, and Over-30 Basketball. Additionally, we partner with other parishes and schools to form a Regional Swim Team.
REGISTRATION FEE: FEES vary depending on program, but have a family max of $525
We focus on helping children improve as players and young Catholics. Advocating high standards of sportsmanship and fair play, we will build, develop, and refine basic basketball techniques while fostering teamwork. The season runs from November until March.
Our basketball program is designed to be developmental in the younger grades, and increasingly competitive starting in 4th grade, with teams traveling to area schools for away games.All teams are coached by volunteer parents.
Competitive Travel Basketball is offered from 4th-12 Grade:
Region Basketball (5th-8th Grade): $260
All teams traveling to area schools for away games
All players trying out for the Region (Varsity & JV) teams MUST attend at least one evaluation session in November; there are no exceptions
Players are placed on teams based on evaluation sessions; playing time is not guaranteed, or equal
Events will be made up despite inclement weather
Practices are two days a week at Saint Andrew School and local Council Rock schools
Reversible uniforms are included in the registration fee and are returned at the end of the season
High School (9th-12th Grade): $260
All teams traveling to area schools for away games
Teams practice once a week at Saint Andrew and local Council Rock schools
Boys compete in two divisions: one for 9th-10th Graders and another for 11th-12th Graders
Girls compete in a single division: 9th-12th Graders
Reversible uniforms are included in the registration fee and are returned at the end of the season
Players who play for their high school basketball team are NOT eligible to participate in CYO Basketball
Parish Basketball (4th-8th Grade): $225
Region and Parish Evaluations are held separately. Those players that only wish to play in the Parish League should not attend the Region Evaluations.
Players that attend Region Evaluations, but are not placed on the region team, should also attend Parish League Evaluations, to allow Parish coaches to place them appropriately.
All teams traveling to area schools for away games.
Kids are are placed on evenly matched teams of 10-12, with playing time guaranteed and equitable. Events may not made be up due to inclement weather.
Practices are once per week at Saint Andrew and local Council Rock schools.
All tournament fees are additional, and must be paid for by teams that wish to participate. Reversible uniforms are provided, but must be returned at the end of the season.
Non-competitive Developmental Basketball is offered from K-3rd Grade:
Developmental Clinics (2nd-3rd Grade): $170
75-minute Saturday morning sessions between 10:00am-12:30pm at Saint Andrew School; runs in January and February for eight (8) weeks; athletes will participate in 45-minute skill sessions, followed by 30 minutes of 4v4 games
A team t-shirt is provided with the registration fee
Little Dribblers (Kindergarten-1st Grade): $50
A 45-minute skill station program on Saturday mornings from 8:30-9:15am or 9:15-10am; runs in January and early February for six (6) weeks
We promote a positive work ethic by emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect. Additionally, we promote physical fitness through instruction of basic fitness training.
Teach safe cheerleading and tumbling techniques, along with proper nutrition
Support the mental, physical, and emotional development of young girls
The season is from October to February
Girls in the 1st-5th Grade are eligible to participate
Practices are held from 4:30-5:30pm on Friday nights
Cheer at school pep rallies and home basketball games beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving

Adult Basketball is open to all male parishioners over 30 years of age. It is a program for pick-up basketball and open gymnasium playing. So if you are looking to refine your skyhook, practice some free throws, or want to meet up for some lighthearted competition, this program is for you.
The fee is for the entire year, which runs from August to July.
Every Wednesday night at the Monsignor Michael C. Picard Gymnasium at Saint Andrew School
The Regional Swim Team is open to any boys or girls of the following parishes or schools: Saint Andrew, Saint Bede, Assumption (that attend Saint Katherine Drexel), Saint Ignatius, Nativity of Our Lord, Saint Vincent de Paul, and Our Lady of Good Council. We compete in the Catholic Youth Swim League as a unified team. Advocating high standards of sportsmanship and fair competition, we will build, develop, and refine basic swimming techniques while fostering teamwork.
This is not an introductory skill learning activity. Those who would like to participate must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) without holding onto the wall or lane ropes.
We are looking for swimmers, aged 5-15, who want to have fun and improve their personal skills
The season runs from October to February
Practices at the Richboro Swim Club take place on Thursday night from 7:30-8:00pm for younger swimmers, and from 8-9:30pm for older swimmers
Practices at the George School take place on Sunday afternoons from 1-1:30pm for younger swimmers, and from 1:30-2:30pm for older swimmers
Meets normally take place on Saturdays or Sundays (with a definite schedule released in November of each year); we participate in seven (7) total meets per year
In order to compete, we need to enroll 50 swimmers. If we do not reach that goal, we will refund your registration fee.
2026-27 Winter Registration
Registration occurs in August until the end of September or early October.
